We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at John McCabe Nissan, where you will recieve outstanding support and training from experianced Master Technicans to help you grow and advance in your career. The sucessful canidate will also help support and mentor our less experinced, not yet qualified apprentices, assisting them in thier learning and devolpment.

Due to our growing market share we are experiencing a consistent influx in the demand for the after sales departments in Drogheda. As a result of the ongoing success this has allowed us to increase the number of Motor Vehicle Technicians on site on a permanent basis.

Our dealership is ideally situated for candidates travelling from many of the North East locations in North County Dublin, Louth, Meath.

The correct candidate will be rewarded with an industry leading salary and structured bonus package. The bonus structure is always offered on the basis that we want staff members to achieve said bonuses each month.

Wages are paid weekly, and bonus payments are made in the first week of the following month.

Monday to Friday 9AM – 5:30PM

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Motor Technician
• Main Franchise Dealership Experience is preferred but not essential
• Competent with the latest diagnostic equipment and able to detect, diagnose and establish work required
• Competent in the use of video VHC system
• Full Driving License
• Efficient and experienced at clocking on and off jobs
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in accurately writing up job cards
• Candidates must be proactive in the workplace and in adapting the companies’ processes

Job Description:

As a core part of our growing team, you will be expected to work in tandem with your colleagues and in particular your Head of After Sales, Service Manager and Parts Manager. The correct candidate will be offered the opportunity to establish themselves as one of our lead Motor Vehicle Technicians in our after sales department where the latest diagnostic equipment and tooling will always be provided.

You will recieve training in line with Nissan Ireland’s training courses which operate online and in their dedicated Nissan Training Centre. Our belief is that as you develop yourself with this training, the after care that we offer our valued customers improved continuously.

The correct candidate should be enthusiastic and eager to learn while developing themselves in the role.
