AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC / DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN

We are a medium sized workshop that is clean, with modern state of the art facilities and all the latest technology for dealership diagnostics and repairs, located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Nunawading) and we are seeking to further expand our friendly and knowledgeable team.

We require a fully qualified motor mechanic ⁄ diagnostic technician to join our wonderful team. Knowledge and experience with European vehicles a favourable trait, as well as previous management or customer service experience, however not essential. Nationally recognised certification in hybrids and EVs, ADAS calibration, Roadworthy Certification, Air Conditioning and brand specific OE training will be provided to the right candidate.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles (mainly European as well as Japanese hybrid vehicles, Tesla and other EVs)
• Vehicle diagnostics and auto electrical work
• Completing job cards and keeping a log of paperwork
• Ensuring workshop and work station is clean and tidy at all times
• Supporting team members and keeping up to date with training
• Assisting customers and meeting customer satisfaction needs
• Reporting to management as well as meeting key KPIs

To be the successful candidate we are looking for, you will be required to show these following skills and requirements:

• Trade Qualification – minimum Cert III (Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrical)
• Relevant additional licences are advantageous (e.g. Roadworthy, Air Conditioning, etc.) but not essential
• Excellent fault finding and diagnostics skills
• Efficient with good attention to detail
• Have own tools (workshop tools provided)
• Victorian Drivers licence – manual licence preferred
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
