A Commis Chef is a junior culinary professional who assists senior chefs by preparing ingredients (washing, peeling, chopping, seasoning), managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness, and learning various kitchen stations to support overall food production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ingredient Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping.
  • Kitchen Assistance: Supporting Senior Chef's by preparing components for dishes, learning different cooking techniques.
  • Inventory & Stock Management: Receiving and organizing deliveries, checking quality, monitoring stock levels, rotating items (FIFO), and reporting shortages.
  • Hygiene & Sanitation: Keeping workstations, equipment, and the entire kitchen clean and sanitized, mopping spills, and adhering to health codes.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Attention to detail and following instructions precisely.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
