Nail And Eyelash Technician

We are a talented team of Beauty professionals! Our treatment menu includes manicures, pedicures, nail art, and acrylic extensions. Due to business expansion, we are now looking to recruit two experienced Nail and Eyelash Technicians to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Nail Care & Treatments and Nail Art & Design

• Perform manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments (e.g., gel, BIAB, Gel-X extensions).
• Trim, file, and shape nails according to clients' preferences.
• Apply nail polish, including base coats, colors, and topcoats.
• Provide hand and foot massages as part of manicures and pedicures.
• Offer nail art services such as painting intricate designs, adding embellishments, and creating custom nail art based on client requests.
• Ability to learn and stay updated on current trends in nail art and styles.

2. Eyelash Extensions Application & Maintenance

• Apply individual or volume eyelash extensions to clients’ natural lashes using safe and effective techniques.
• Assess clients’ natural lashes and recommend appropriate styles and lengths.
• Ensure a symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing look based on clients’ preferences.
• Perform eyelash fills or touch-ups as needed, generally every 2-4 weeks, to replace fallen lashes and maintain a full appearance.
• Provide guidance on proper aftercare for extended lash longevity.
• Safely and effectively remove eyelash extensions without damaging natural lashes.

3. Client Consultation & Customer Services

• Assess the condition of clients' nails and discuss their desired look or style.
• Provide advice on nail care and recommend treatments for specific issues like nail damage, brittleness, or fungal infections.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, addressing their concerns, and answering any questions about lash care.
• Provide a relaxing and welcoming environment for clients.
• Address client concerns and ensure they are satisfied with their services.
• Manage appointments and follow up with clients for future bookings.

4. Product Knowledge & Maintain Records

• Be knowledgeable about different nail products and services (e.g., types of nail polish, UV lamps, or gel treatments).
• Recommend and sell eyelash aftercare products such as cleansers, serums, and brushes.
• Stay updated on the latest eyelash trends and techniques.
• Upsell additional services or products when appropriate.
• Maintain client records, including their lash preferences, allergies, or sensitivities, and appointment history.

5. Cleaning, Sanitation and Hygiene

• Ensure tools and workstations are sanitized to maintain hygiene standards.
• Sterilize nail tools (e.g., clippers, files) between uses to prevent the spread of infections.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and ensure that all tools, including tweezers and applicators, are sanitized properly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to minimize risks and ensure client safety.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience and Qualification: Have an appropriate qualification related to nail and/or eyelash techniques and have at least 03 years working experience.

2. Technical Skills

• Ability to use nail care tools effectively and create nail art designs.
• Precision is crucial for achieving clean and neat manicures/pedicures.
• Precision and attention to detail, manual dexterity, and knowledge of different lash styles and techniques.

3. Customer Service Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

4. Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of sanitation standards and infection prevention.

5. Creative Eye: Ability to stay current with nail trends and create unique looks for clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
