Tailor Your Resume for this Job

Marketing Manager

NAMO is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day marketing through our next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on role across NAMO's regional stores and office-based marketing. You'll bring experience of helping a startup or scaleup grow, and own the plans, budgets and decisions behind the results. You'll be just as comfortable working with a store team and checking activity on the ground as you are reviewing performance, writing copy or briefing a creator.

This is an opportunity to take real ownership in a business where your work is visible. You'll help decide where marketing effort goes, build a consistent approach across locations, and stay close to store teams and customers to see what's actually working.

This is a flexible role, combining office-based planning, campaign management and reporting with regular planned time across NAMO's regional stores.

What you'll own

Strategy & Planning
Turn the strategy agreed with the Fractional CMO into a practical marketing plan across locations, balancing store growth, launches, customer acquisition and repeat visits.

  • Manage the agreed budget and lead campaigns across paid social, organic content, email, web and local channels.
  • Improve activity based on results, not assumptions.

Store & Local Marketing

  • Work regularly in NAMO's regional stores, leading local marketing and launches alongside Operations and Commercial.
  • Ensure offers, screens, assets and teams are ready and consistent at store level.
  • Develop customer retention and partnership activity.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of new customer and ordering channels as they become available.

Delivery & Execution

  • Direct creators, designers and suppliers while delivering campaigns.
  • Coordinate in-store assets, check execution, and resolve issues as they come up.

Reporting

  • Report performance, spend and recommended next steps to the Fractional CMO, using commercial measures alongside channel data.

How you'll work

You'll report directly to NAMO's Fractional CMO, who leads marketing strategy, growth priorities and leadership reporting. You'll own the operating plan and day-to-day delivery, with authority to make routine campaign and spending decisions within agreed limits.

What we're looking for

This is a great opportunity for someone who's led marketing through real growth and wants to own the results.

  • A proven record of leading marketing through a startup or scaleup phase, with clear examples of your own decisions and the growth achieved.
  • Typically 5+ years in marketing, including at least 2 years owning marketing plans, budgets and results at Manager level or equivalent - we'll consider equivalent depth of experience shown through your work.
  • Experience growing a consumer business across multiple locations or local markets, with strong commercial judgement around customer acquisition, repeat visits and offer economics.
  • Current hands-on skills in paid social, content and email, plus a practical understanding of website conversion and local search.
  • Confidence leading agencies, freelancers or colleagues across teams, with clear communication and reliable follow-through.
  • Willingness to work regularly across NAMO's regional stores alongside office-based planning, and to take part in planned launches and events.

Experience in food, hospitality, retail, store openings or loyalty programmes would be useful, but a particular degree or job title isn't essential - we value practical achievement and sound judgement.
