Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with toddlers and school age, possess strong childcare skills, and be dedicated to creating a safe and engaging atmosphere for children. This role involves not only supervising children but also educating them through play and activities, ensuring their well-being, and assisting with daily routines.

Shift Hours:

Morning Shift: 6:30am- 8:30am Monday, Wendsday, Friday

Evening Shift: 4:00pm - 8:00pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Transportation to and from school/ activites.
• Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth.
• Manage any special needs or accommodations for children with disabilities as required.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children's areas, including cleaning up after meals and playtime.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in babysitting, nannying, or childcare settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and child development principles.
• Ability to educate children through engaging activities that stimulate learning.
• Cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for children.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and parents alike.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for this role.
