Introduction:
We’re seeking an experienced National Credit Manager to lead credit control across the FUJIFILM Australia Group, minimising credit risk and bad debts while maintaining strong customer relationships and optimising debtor capital and cashflow performance.

As the National Credit Manager, you will manage the end-to-end credit control function to ensure credit risk, bad debts and debtor capital are minimised, while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Description:
Key focus areas include:
- Cash forecasting & DSO performance: monitor projections, maintain debtor ledger integrity, approve new credit applications, manage collections to due dates, maintain customer credit limits, and report debtor ledger status within six working days after month-end.
- Stakeholder relationships: build strong internal partnerships (including sales and marketing) and maintain productive customer relationships, including regular engagement with major customers.
- Bad debt management: develop and communicate bad debt strategy, analyse credit history, manage credit referrals/stops/over-limit actions, review bad debt provision quarterly, and manage legal action and legal files where required.
- Budget accountability: plan and monitor resources and keep credit control expenses within agreed budget/forecast.
- People leadership: recruit, lead and develop team members; set plans and priorities; coach, mentor and complete appraisals; support onboarding/offboarding; and promote safe work practices.
- Quality, environment & WHS compliance: follow FUJIFILM policies and procedures, recommend improvements, initiate corrective actions (FIO forms), and comply with WHS requirements including customer-site procedures
Qualifications
- Essential: Certificate or Diploma in Credit Management (AICM).
- Desirable: Membership of the Australian Institute of Credit.
- Essential: Proven credit management experience at National or State level.
- Desirable: Basic accounting knowledge and demonstrated understanding of credit law and court processes.
You’ll be effective at identifying issues from the broader business perspective, achieving annual goals, collaborating cross-functionally, applying functional knowledge to the business, and building strong relationships across the group to improve outcomes.
