Job Summary:
The primary role of the New Business Manager is to build and strengthen customer relationships, provide excellent service to customers and prospect new accounts. This position focuses equally on both prospecting new business and managing the sales process to close deals. New Business Managers are instrumental in helping to achieve growth and expansion of Metalogics.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Connect with Prospect Qualified Leads (PQL) to evaluate their scrap metal management program and to communicate the features and benefits our services provide.
- Convert PQL’s to Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) and drive them through to successful closure.
- Consistent field prospecting to develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers.
- Sourcing and attending events and trade shows to create brand awareness and prospect for potential customers.
- Develop and execute sales plans that identify potential customers that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and drive long or short-term opportunities through to closure.
- Manage end-to-end RFQ submissions and bidding activities for new accounts to secure profitable business opportunities.
- Effectively use HubSpot to track and achieve established key performance metrics.
- Developing and entering quotes and orders in HubSpot in response to customer requirements and alignment with Metalogic’s sales process.
- Maintaining accurate weekly routine reporting to the sales team and executive management.

Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years in field-sales with a focus on material/commodities in industrial environments
- Experience with CRM (HubSpot) is an asset
- Good with numbers; basic math ability
- Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
