Summary

The New Car Sales Manager is responsible for leading the dealership's new vehicle sales operations, achieving sales targets, and delivering an exceptional Lexus customer experience.

This role combines strategic leadership, team management, and operational oversight to drive revenue growth, while upholding Lexus brand standards of luxury, quality and customer care.

Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every customer receives a luxury brand purchasing experience consistent with Lexus standards
  • Proactively and professionally resolve escalated customer concerns
  • promote a culture of relationship-based selling and long-term customer loyalty

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop, implement, & execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies and promotions.
  • Oversee pricing, incentives, and vehicle inventory levels in collaboration with the General Manager

Team Management

  • Train and coach a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with Lexus values and customer service standards
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide mentorship, and set clear sales goals
  • Motivate the sales team to continuously deliver exceptional customer experiences while meeting individual and team sales objectives.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee showroom presentation, ensuring coordinators and porters present the vehicles and facilities in a manner that reflects the Lexus brand image
  • Coordinate with the executive team to manage deal structuring, financing approvals, trade-in evaluations, and compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies
  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare management reports for senior leadership
  • Work with the executive team to plan and execute local promotions and events
  • Collaborate with all departments to enhance cross-departmental customer relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of automotive sales experience with at least 2 years of experience in a sales management role
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a luxury or premium automotive environment.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and customer service best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and dealership management software, eg CDK
  • Valid OMVIC
  • Valid G Driver's Licence with clean abstract
  • Bilingualism is an asset but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
