About the Role:
Join our new home – which will be our 5th home within our Residential service!
We are anticipating a provisional start date of 27th January, subject to safer recruitment checks
Average annual salary is:
- £29,775.00 without NVQ Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare
- £31,752.00 with NVQ Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare
Full time, permanent position, working a shift pattern of 2 days on, 4 days off (48-hour shifts).
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our awesome team within our residential children’s homes. We support our wonderful children and young people who are all under 18 to have as close to a family home experience as possible, whilst supporting children to try new things, access education, learn new skills, play, and have fun whilst developing their independence skills in a loving and nurturing child focused environment. Not to mention fun days out with our young people!
Our children and young people live within solo or dual occupancy Ofsted registered children's homes, we believe this model can bring some of the best outcomes for children. All our homes are modern, spacious, and luxurious inside, with private bathrooms. We also have a head office at Prockters Farm in Taunton, where there are large training and meeting rooms for face-to-face training and staff engagement events. We love a company BBQ, team event or Christmas party.
Requirements
What you need:
- Previous experience within a Residential Childcare setting would be advantageous.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Residential Childcare qualification. However, this is not essential entry criteria for this role.
- Full UK driving license is required.
Right to work in the UK (required) -
You will need to be a caring, resilient, and adaptable team player. It is important that you are a positive and motivated individual.
These are full time roles, for people who have a passion to make a difference.
All training will be provided, and we are proud to offer an induction programme to enable you to settle into the home and build working relationships with the team and our wonderful children and young people.
