Southern Valley Homes is an established local custom home builder specializing in single-family residential construction. With a variety of our own floor plans as well as in-house custom drafting capabilities, we focus on delivering exceptional homes tailored to our clients’ needs.
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile New Home Consultant to assist in Model Center operations, work with prospective clients from introduction to contract, and guide clients through the custom home building process. This role is integral to ensuring a seamless experience for our customers as they navigate the exciting journey of building a custom home.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage and greet visitors at the Model Center, offering information about the custom home building process based on their needs and preferences.
- Work with prospective clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and prepare contracts with specific inclusions and project details.
- Support clients throughout the build as their primary point of contact, coordinating with construction and administration teams.
- Meet defined sales KPIs as set by management.
- Ensure timely, professional, and responsive communication with clients, lenders, realtors, and trade partners.
- Assist with customer selections, plan reviews, change orders, lender documentation, and other project requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with other sales consultants and team members across construction, billing, and administration.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with customers and team members.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software and tools.
- Creative problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- General knowledge of real estate and/or construction would be beneficial but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills to build rapport with clients and address their needs promptly.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Administrative proficiency for handling paperwork and documentation related to sales processes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
