Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Hindi News Anchor with strong on-camera presence and news scriptwriting skills. The ideal candidate should be confident in live and recorded formats, have a deep understanding of current affairs, and be capable of presenting news with authority, clarity, and credibility.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Juhu, Mumbai, working closely with the editorial, production, and digital teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesNews Anchoring & Presentation

• Anchor daily news bulletins, explainers, debates, and special digital shows in Hindi
• Present breaking news, political developments, and current affairs with clarity and balance
• Conduct interviews with political leaders, experts, and newsmakers
• Maintain calm, credibility, and composure during sensitive or breaking news situations

News Writing & Scripting

• Write and edit news scripts, intros, outros, and explainers for digital platforms
• Translate complex political and social issues into clear, audience-friendly language
• Ensure factual accuracy, editorial balance, and strong storytelling
• Coordinate with producers and editors for show flow and structure

Editorial Coordination

• Work closely with the editorial team on story planning and coverage
• Participate in editorial meetings and contribute story ideas
• Follow newsroom ethics, legal guidelines, and editorial standards
• Adapt content for digital-first audiences, especially YouTube

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional experience as a News Anchor (Hindi)
• Strong command over spoken and written Hindi
• Proven experience in news script writing and editorial preparation
• Excellent understanding of Indian politics, governance, and current affairs
• Confident on-camera presence and clear voice modulation
• Ability to handle politically sensitive topics responsibly
• Experience in digital news or YouTube-based news platforms

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Experience with independent or digital-first news organizations
• Familiarity with YouTube news formats and audience engagement
• Ability to moderate debates or panel discussions
• Basic understanding of newsroom production workflows
