The Front Desk Agent will handle various administrative tasks, assist guests with inquiries, and support hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Process reservations and maintain accurate records of guest information.
  • Conduct night audits as required to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages effectively.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of hotel management or hospitality management principles is an advantage.
  • Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to handle multiple calls professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
  • Perform night audit tasks, including balancing daily financial transactions and preparing reports for management
  • Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Flexibility for last minute schedule changes and coverages.
