Night Auditor

At Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We are looking for a dedicated Night Audit Associate to join our team and help maintain our high standards during the nighttime hours.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. You will be responsible for auditing financial transactions, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining security throughout the property.

About the role

• Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and reconcile accounts
• Prepare daily revenue reports and summaries for management
• Provide front desk support, including guest check-ins and check-outs
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
• Maintain security and monitor hotel premises during the night
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager

About you

• At least 1 year previous experience in a similar role, such as Front Office or Accounts, ideally in a hotel
• Or a relevant qualification (this could be in accounting or hotel management)
• Must be very detail oriented, have a high degree of professional integrity and be able to work safely, effectively and efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g. Opera) is a plus
• Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Fluency in English is required
