Night Housekeeping Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

we are looking to recruit an additional Night Housekeeping Supervisor to work in our brand new stunning £16 million Spa which has recently re-opened and doubled in size. We are looking for someone to ensure that our high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail are installed and maintained throughout the site which includes Crow Wood leisure, Bertrams restaurant, The Lounge and Soccer Burnley as well as the award winning refurbished and extended Woodland Spa.

Nights Housekeeping Supervisor

Reporting to Housekeeping Manager – Spa. Leisure and Farmhouse accommodation.

Main duties, including the following but not limited to:

Responsible for the night team of housekeepers across the business.

Liaise with Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor’s regarding their requirements for cleaning, training and performance levels.

Monitor and supervise all cleaning carried out in all areas across the site.

To be fully aware of laundry practices & procedures.

To liaise with cleaning suppliers, complete orders ensuring the team use the correct cleaning agents on all surfaces.

To deliver and ensure all housekeepers complete the correct training with the assistance of the deputy Housekeeping Manager.

To record and report all faults and damage arising and ensure on all occasions you observe safe and hygienic working practices to satisfy Health and Safety at Work and other statutory legislation.

To ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and effectively.

To maintain stock levels of chemicals that are used by the Nights team.

To assist with the housekeeping operation as necessary, ie cleaning of spa / leisure .

To report and process lost property according to procedures.

To consistently deliver superior customer service

To carry out COSHH training annually and Manual Handling training when required.

Attend First Aid and Fire training and any other relevant training.

All other duties as and when required.

The position includes evenings and weekend’s shifts and the shifts will be 4 nights working and then 4 nights off (8 hour or 10 hour shifts available)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £13.37 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Supervisory housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
