The Hotel:

Aspect Hotel Dublin Park West is situated within the award-winning Park West Business Campus, near the city and all the major road networks. Access to and from the hotel is effortless and well located within just four miles West of Dublin City Centre. Access to the city is made easy by the local commuter train which takes just 8 minutes and there is also a regular bus service from outside the hotel. It’s the ideal spot for people travelling for business or leisure, offering 141 guest bedrooms and serviced apartments as well as excellent conference facilities. We offer warm and friendly service to all our guests and strive to create a work environment of trust, professionalism, collaboration and camaraderie.

The Role

The Night Operations Manager’s role is a key position within the management team and involves dealing with guest enquiries, ensuring guest comfort, safety and security at all times. An important part of the role is ensuring that the night audit is processed properly during every night shift as this is key to the successful running of the hotel.

Ability to communicate fluently in English and a friendly manner are important skills for this role.

This is a full-time permanent role. Aspect Hotel Park West is a 24/7 operation, so this role will involve shifts, evenings & weekend work. However, as a company we are keenly aware of the need to balance work with life outside of work, so we are open to finding working time solutions that will suit all – feel free to talk about your needs in your application.

About The Role

What’s involved in the role:

  • Responsibility for the overall running of the night operation of the hotel.
  • Carrying out reception duties such as welcoming guests to the property, providing effective check-in and check-out and operating the switchboard.
  • Ensuring night audits are complete
  • Being highly vigilant about the security of the building at night
  • Dealing with any guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficiently
  • Safely and professionally handling guest luggage
  • Preparing room service and delivering to guest room
  • Upholding company policies including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Cash Handling etc
  • Effectively communicating with colleagues to ensure team harmony and smooth management of the business


A person who may be suited to this role will have:

  • Previous hotel experience in a front of house role
  • Previous experience in a night working role
  • Enthusiasm and friendliness in abundance
  • A desire to progress a career in hospitality
  • The ability to be calm under pressure
  • Excellent task and time management skills
