Job Description – Night Sales Assistant

Title: Night Pack Sales Assistant

Responsible to: Store Management

Main Purpose of the Job: To ensure store is fully packed, merchandised and faced off. Ensure delivery is checked off in line with goods inwards procedures.

Main Duties:

1. To ensure that all sections of the grocery department are merchandised and presented to the highest standard

2. To ensure you understand and comply with all company hygiene, HACCP, food safety and security procedures

3. To adhere to all company rules, policies and procedures at all times

4. To be familiar and comply with all Health & Safety Regulations particularly those pertaining to your role and to report any breaches to store management

5. Liaise with the management on changes to layouts, ends and sides and ensure changes are correctly implemented.

6. To ensure correct labelling and that stock rotation procedures are implemented.

7. To ensure the back store is kept tidy, packed away, rubbish is disposed of and combis packed correctly.

8. To carry out any other duties as requested by management/supervisors from time to time
