Night Supervisor (Mobile Patrol)

Are you a night owl with a passion for ensuring safety and security? Red Badge Group is seeking a dedicated Night Supervisor to join our team.

In this Night Supervisor role, you will oversee and support our night operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients and customers. This opportunity offers a chance to make a real impact while working within a dynamic and supportive team environment. You’ll:

  • Lead a team of night staff to deliver exceptional security services – you’ll be working on site 3-4 days a week, sharing a roster with another Night Supervisor to provide 7 day coverage for the team.
  • Implement and oversee safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address security needs.
  • Cover Mobile Patrol shifts as needed to provide support within the wider team and be able to train new staff as needed.
Please note that this is not a Monday – Friday position, hours of work will include weekend nights (Saturday and Sundays) so you’ll need to have flexibility to work these hours.




Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Previous mobile patrol or similar experience
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and risk management
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Valid security license or relevant certifications
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in security management or related field
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Proficiency in using security equipment and technology
  • Full Clean New Zealand Drivers License
  • Certificate of Approval (COA) or be eligible to obtain one (have a clean criminal record, and be over 18 years old)
