This is a Full Time (40 hour per week) position.

We strive for excellence in teaching and learning, which is evident in the number of very well-placed Kindergartens we operate.
We are seeking an experienced, certificated, self-motivated, enthusiastic teacher who has a passion for working in multicultural communities. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) in an established and well-resourced kindergarten with a roll of 40 children and a teacher to child ratio of 1:10.
We are looking for a Teacher who has a good understanding of inclusive planning, assessment and internal evaluation practices. You will be welcomed into a team connected to the attending community. You will enjoy working closely with whānau and supporting active children from diverse backgrounds. You will also have excellent communication with all members of the wider kindergarten community.
All applicants will need to be self-motivated team players that will uphold our visions, values, goals, and philosophy. You will also need to be a collaborative and positive team player, have integrity and display qualities of enthusiasm and reliability.
We are looking for a teacher who has a passion for building meaningful relationships with children and their families and who has a drive to provide learning opportunities that extend beyond the centre, out into the wider community. We value our community and whānau and hold importance in our children being immersed in and demonstrating whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, ukaipotanga and tuakana teina relationships so this is an integral part of our everyday environment.

Experienced teachers or teachers who are provisionally certificated are welcome to apply.
Qualified Teacher Applicants require a Level 7 Diploma or Bachelor of Teaching ECE, current first aid certificate and current New Zealand teacher registration practising certificate.
Start date: To be negotiated
Hours required: Monday to Friday between 8.00am – 4.30pm
