Job Description
Job Title: Noiselite Operator/Assembler FLSA status: Non-Exempt
Department: Noiselite/Carding line Reports to: Assembly/Noiselite
Coordinator/Manager
Position Summary: To understand the needs of our customer and operate Carding line and produce products to meet the needs of these customers to support the long-term success of Industry Products Co. Conform to customer requirements by performing defect – free work and continuously improving our process and the effectiveness of our quality management system.
Qualifications: (List all required and preferred education, years of experience, skill sets, etc.)
Required:
- Ability to learn Carding line operation.
- Ability to learn assembly processes.
- Basic Reading
- Basic Math skills
- Fit into team and continuous improvement environment.
- Ability to learn to use appropriate measuring devices.
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Preferred:
- Previous carding and/or manufacturing experience
- Previous assembly experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Previous press operator experience
Primary Position responsibilities:
1. Safely operate all Carding line and Sandwich line
2. Safely operate all department assembly equipment a. Assemble and fabricate to meet customer requirements. b. Perform minor machinery adjustments.
3. Clean parts. (Perform minor cleaning, clean out carding ling as needed to ensure good running functions).
4. Perform continuous in-process quality checks and pull-out parts that do not meet specifications, gauging parts as necessary. a. Perform quality checks per customer required test method. b. Involve Quality Assurance when in question.
5. Packaging a. Prepare boxes, labels, tags, tickets, etc b. Stack, and tape or wrap when necessary.
6. Complete production paperwork a. Record production quantities, scrap, etc. b. Data Collections
7. Performs other duties as assigned to include special projects, programs and development activities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
