Job Summary

MUST HAVE YOUR OWN SECURITY GUARD LICENSE - LOOKING FOR ARMED AND UNARMED.

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict resolution skills to de-escalate tense situations.
• Document incidents and prepare reports detailing observations and actions taken during shifts.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.

Experience

• Previous experience in security roles or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and monitoring systems is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; additional certifications related to security are advantageous.
• Experience in conflict management and loss prevention strategies will be beneficial for this role.
• A background in military service may also be considered an asset for candidates applying for this position.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
