Avincis is a global leader in the emergency aviation industry and it provides services in the field of HEMS, Firefighting, off-shore and MRO. For the Firefighting area, Avincis manages the Italian Canadair fleet composed of 18 planes, owned by the Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco, and it counts on 3 operative bases. The Rotary Wing division instead has a fleet of more than 40 helicopters and 36 operative bases, mainly operating in Italian regions but also covering international operations.

For our Fixed Wing division we are looking for a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialist who will report to the Maintenance Manager and will plan, schedule and perform non-destructive testing in base and line maintenance processes.

  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), Radiographic Testing (RT) according to held certifications (Level II)
  • Complete and update technical documentation and maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft in accordance with EASA Part-145 regulations.
  • Conduct technical inspections during line maintenance (pre-flight, transit, post-flight) and base maintenance (hangar).

Mandatory

  • EASA NDT certifications according to EN4179 or NAS410 (at least Level 2 in one or more methods: PT, MT, UT, ET, RT)
  • In-depth knowledge of EASA/ENAC regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals (AMM, SRM, IPC).
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and maintenance software (e.g., AMOS, TRAX).
  • Good knowledge of operational/technical aspects
  • 2 years of work experience in aeronautical industry.

Nice to have

  • Good knowledge of the Company Manuals (MOE, CAMO, QM etc.) and Publications;
  • EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License (preferably B1.1 or B2 category).
  • Quality System/Quality Management
  • Specific courses (EASA Part 145; Human Factor…)
  • A/C familiarisation courses & CAME;
