Overview
We are seeking dependable and professional NEMT Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate care, patience, and responsibility while providing safe and reliable transportation services to clients who may be elderly, disabled, or require special assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, pharmacies, and other approved destinations.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, including securing mobility aids such as wheelchairs, stretchers, or walkers.
- Ensure all passengers are properly secured with seat belts and required safety equipment prior to driving.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required client or trip documentation.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with dispatch and clients regarding schedules, delays, or route changes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and mechanical soundness.
- Provide courteous, respectful, and professional service at all times.
- Follow all company policies, traffic laws, safety procedures, and NEMT regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review required.
- Any driving violations must be at least five (5) years prior to the date of application to be considered.
- Previous professional driving experience preferred (NEMT, rideshare, delivery, or similar).
- Ability to safely and respectfully assist passengers with limited mobility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and assist clients with mobility devices such as wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods as required by route assignments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130.00 - $150.00 per day

- This role requires successful completion of a background check and drug screening, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy. Are you willing and able to complete both requirements?
- This role involves moving or assisting passengers and equipment weighing 200+ lbs using proper safety procedures and equipment. Are you able to safely perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodation?
- This role requires a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), including no major driving violations within the past 5 years. Are you able to meet this requirement?
