Compensation Information:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Physical Requirement:
Medium, work activities involve handling loads between 10 and 20 kg – Predominately in an outdoor setting.
This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.
Accountabilities:
- Oversee the set-up and tear down of Nordic Trails; Install, maintain, and inventory the signage requirements on the Nordic trail system throughout the season
- Work with other stakeholders (Snowshoe, Fat Bike, Dog Sled) to make sure signage is consistent within the Nordic Trail system
- Train Nordic Operations staff on snowmobiles and related Nordic grooming equipment to maintain acceptable grooming when required due to late or unforeseen snowfall, etc.
- Review the Nordic Trail system changes from Ecosign and provide input on future trail plans to meet the needs of Nordic guests
- Coordinate any grooming requests to the Slopes Manager and Nordic grooming staff
Ideal Candidate:
- Preference is given to candidates certified with current CANSI certification (or equivalent)
- Polished interpersonal and motivational skills and highly organized.
- Proven track record in tourism, guest services, and as a team player
- Supervise, schedule, and accurately action paid activities for a small staff team
- Supervise and coordinate outdoor Nordic activities as required
