At MediaWorks, we connect brands with audiences through powerful, multi-platform campaigns across Radio, Out of Home (OoH), and Digital. We're looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Associate Strategist to join our Strategy team — covering the Northern Region — and help drive meaningful, revenue-generating campaigns.
The Opportunity:
As our Associate Strategist, you'll be responsible for delivering insight-led, structured, and strategic campaign proposals that utilise MediaWorks' Radio, OOH, and Digital assets. Taking ownership of campaign briefs from the Direct Sales team, you'll manage the end-to-end briefing process and collaborate with internal teams to craft smart, creative, and results-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver planned, researched, and insight-driven proposals aligned to client objectives. Nurturing strong internal and external relationships.
- Lead the end-to-end campaign strategy, presentation, and execution process.
- Be performance-driven — regularly review campaign results, audience insights, and industry trends to optimise our strategic approach and improve our brief responses.
- Track and manage workflow, campaign outcomes, insights, and provide feedback for your region.
- Support revenue growth by identifying opportunities across national, large-scale, and local campaigns.
Note - some travel will be required to support regional sales teams and attend client meetings.
What you'll bring:
Ideally, around 5 years' experience working at a strategic level in advertising or media, with a proven track record of delivering smart, creative campaigns that achieve meaningful, measurable results. You'll have proven expertise across media planning, channel strategy, strategic response development, and output understanding.
- Media, Marketing or Advertising qualification, or training relevant to the commercial nature of this role.
- A multi-tasker and creative strategic thinker, able to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills, combined with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset that drives strategic recommendations forward.
- Excellent written, organisational, time management, and presentation skills.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to deliver polished, insight-led proposals.
