Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are outlined below, although this is not a limiting list and may be changed/added depending on the needs/manager's instructions:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the development of new products from concept to launch
• Contribute to the completion of product specifications and packaging / artwork review
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, quality and purchasing to ensure smooth product development and commercialization
• Create and prepare samples for external and internal review
• Organise NPD tastings
• Prepare and dispatch samples to customers
• Assist in completing critical paths, sample submission forms and other NPD documentation
• Keep up to date with market trends and innovations
• Source new ingredient samples from suppliers
• Maintain quality and procedure manuals including all materials and product specifications, HACCP documents

Candidate requirements:

• 3rd level award in food science, food technology or related discipline
• Enthusiastic, committed, self-starter, eager to learn with a can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task on a large variety of tasks
