Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our mental health outpatient team. In this role, you will serve as a vital provider, performing History & Physical assessments, diagnosing conditions, and working closley with Medical Director developing personalized treatment plans.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and functional evaluations.
- Prescribe medications and treatments following evidence-based guidelines while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Manage patient care plans through collaboration with Medical Director; coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Utilize electronic health record KIPU EMR to document medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Engage in telehealth visits to extend care access remotely while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology necessary for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Skilled in working with special populations such as mental health patients.
- Excellent patient care skills combined with compassionate communication.
