Claverham Day Nursery in Battle East Sussex requires a qualified Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team.
We believe in providing a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Our nursery is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and our commitment to high-quality early years education. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or a relevant equivalent qualification.
The successful candidate will:
be an enthusiastic and excellent Early Years practitioner, who is able to engage children through preparing and participating in a range of play based activities that promote each child’s physical, intellectual and emotional needs.
work with the supervisor to create an exciting and purposeful learning environment.
act as a key worker, forming a close, caring relationship with their allocated children and communicating with their parents and carers.
be flexible and able to work closely with other EYFS team members.
be keen to engage in continuing professional development.

The position is 37 hours per week, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year. The position is paid on Single Status Grade 3, Point 7 £24,027 per annum.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
