Nursery Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Attendant to join us in providing care and support to children in a nurturing environment one day a week (Sundays). The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere while parents are in engaged in church. This position requires a strong commitment to childcare, with an emphasis on safety, and emotional support. If you are looking for a once-a-week way to earn extra money and you love working with children, this may be a good fit for you. Background Check is required, and candidates will also be required to go through Church Sponsored Misconduct Prevention Training.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Provide infant care, including feeding, diaper changing, and comforting as needed.
• Manage nursery dynamics effectively, maintaining an organized and positive environment conducive to childcare.
• Maintain clear communication with parents regarding children and inform if any concerns arise.

Skills

• Experience in daycare settings or similar environments is preferred.
• Ability to provide first aid when necessary, ensuring immediate response to any health-related incidents.
• Experience working with children
• A nurturing attitude combined with the ability to set appropriate boundaries for children’s behavior.
• Previous experience in nannying or similar roles is advantageous.
