Newhouse Day Nursery are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our setting as a nursery cook , providing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals daily.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing a small kitchen
• Cooking and preparing all meals from scratch.
• Managing all areas of the kitchen.
• Monitoring stock and wastage
• Complying to hygiene regulations at all times

Requirements

• The successful candidate must have previous experience within a working kitchen environment
• Demonstrable experience as a skilled Cook ideally in a School or Nursery setting
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate as a minimum
• Excellent culinary skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills are essential
• Working on your own initiatives
