Role Overview


We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Nurse Sonographer to join our ReproScan team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scans while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a professional and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities


Perform a variety of ultrasound scans, including:


  • Early pregnancy scans
  • "Just a Look" reassurance scans
  • Gender scans
  • 3D/4D scans
  • Fertility scans
  • Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain the scanning process.
  • Ensure accurate electronic transfer of scan images to patients.
  • Monitor clinical supplies and notify administration when stock levels are low.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of scan rooms and equipment.
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to all patients.
  • Undertake additional duties as required, consistent with the role.


Education & Professional Qualifications


Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound.


Demonstrated competence in obstetric and gynaecological scanning.


Ability to perform phlebotomy (desirable; training can be provided).


Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is desirable.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High standard of clinical practice and professionalism.


Ability to work flexibly, including varied working hours.


Adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic working environment.

Working Hours:

  • 16 hour working week inclusive of breaks.
  • 8 Hour shift with core operating hours between 8am-4pm,
