Nursing position wanted for a holistic Internal Medicine practice in Virginia Beach; position includes working for two medical providers, direct patient care, scheduling appointments, equipment sterilizations and injections; record patient documentation in medical records accurately and in a timely manner; checking patients in; scanning documents as needed; assisting in daily reports and maintaining supply levels; answering phones;

The candidiate must have the following:

* At least a valid MA or CMA license

* Must be able to work independently and in a team setting

* Efficient and attention to detail

* Critical thinking skills and strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately

* Problem-solving skills and flexibility

The responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

* Supervising the medical care of all patients

* Reviewing and supervising the inventory of medicines, perscriptions and supplies

* Working as a Staff Nursing Associate

* Fostering teamwork

In addition, obtain patient vital signs, record medical histoary and maintain med sheets for each patient; order medical supplies and restock exam rooms; coordinate Medicare Wellness visits and complete documentation as required;

Job Type: Full Time

Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Experience: At least one year clinic experience

Licenses/Certification: Current License with Commonwealth of Virginia
