About the Role
There are two available Senior House Officer positions for which attachments can be of three month or six month duration. RMOs completing six month attachments are eligible to complete the O & G Diploma. There is an opportunity for 12 month positions for those who are interested in O+G as a career.
The position offers exposure to general antenatal and intra-partum care, as well as comprehensive general gynaecology. The role also provides interested candidates with supervised scanning time at a local private ultrasound facility.
About the Team/Service/ Location
There are eight registrars and ten Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists also working in the department.
About you

- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
