CRT provides high-quality, reliable timber solutions that builders and designers can depend on to build faster, smarter, and with absolute confidence. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Administrator to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied responsibilities, from office administration to assisting with sales, design, and production administration. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and a key support for the Sales team.

This role is based in the Coachford Business Park, Clonmoyle, Coachford and candidates should ensure they have a reliable means of travelling to and from this location as it is not accessible via direct public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers by managing incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department, and taking messages where necessary.
  • Logging enquiries received over the phone and via email using customised software (full training provided).
  • Responsible for managing customer quotations from initial enquiry through to final completion (full training provided.
  • Supporting the production department with printing job sheets and product tags, and supporting logistics with printing and laminating site packs for delivery drivers.
  • Responsible for managing social media content for LinkedIn account and for promotion of the CRT website.
  • Helping to maintain internal records, logs, and filing systems.
  • Performing general admin tasks including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Ordering and monitoring stationery and other supplies.
  • Providing administrative support for various projects across the organisation.
  • Developing, over time, a strong understanding of the business and building a solid knowledge of our full product and service offering.

About You:

  • Minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience working in sales or the construction industry an advantage
  • Confident communicating with customers over email and on the phone
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Social Media knowledge
  • Keen interest in learning about the company, its customers, etc.
  • Professional, flexible team player who enjoys working on their own initiative
  • Fluent English is essential for this position due to the customer facing aspect of the role
