Office Administrator

Office Administrator is required as cover for Maternity leave for a fixed term contract, but there may be a possibility of a continued role after that date.

The role entails the following

General Duties

Answering Phone and forwarding calls to relevant department or taking a message or order.

Daily Tasks

  • Processing orders
  • Enter orders onto computer system
  • Create new customers or consignees on computer system if required
  • Create Cover sheet for order processing
  • Print labels for order
  • Schedule Production
  • Assemble goods on stock control system - keeping track of batch numbers as required
  • Arrange Haulage
  • Labels boxes and pallets for despatch
  • Create and print delivery dockets for despatch
  • File paperwork in numerical order for prodction and despatch

On Site Sales

  • Be able to take and process on site sales using a point of Sale system on the stock control system
  • Process Card Payments for on site sales or for payments of accounts over the phone

Tasks as they arise

  • Enter new formulations onto Recipe Control System
  • Enter new formulations onto Stock control system
  • Create labels for new productson the label design software

Must carry out all activities in accordance with the requirements of the Department of. Agriculture, the UFAS Code of Practice for the Manufacture of Safe Compound AnimalFeedingstuffs, BETA NOPS, Bord Bia FQAS and in accordance with any specific requirements of David Taylor Animal Nutrition.

  • Training will be provided for each task.

Skills and Experience Required

  • A high degree of computer literacy including, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Databases
  • Experience with editing Websites and Facebook
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a flexible approach.
  • Excellent inter-personal & communication skillsm a friendly and helpfull manner.
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Own transport is required.

The Factory is located at

Carrick Mill, Loughbawn, Collinstown, Co. Westmeath N91 EW27

Working Hours

Normal Hours are

Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.15 pm

Friday is 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

During busy times of the year overtime is available (Winter Months typically)

Starting at 7.30 am each day and Avialable for 3 to 4 hours on Saturday Mornings

Pay: €14.50 per hour

  • Collinstown, County Westmeath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Leaving Certificate (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • A Driving Licence (required)

  • Ireland (required)
