Office Clerk Cum Administration Support
JOB TITLE : Office Clerk, Administrative Support

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent, Full-time
LOCATION : Oshawa
HOURS : 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

DEPARTMENT : Patient Support Programs
REPORTING TO : Manager, Patient Support Programs
JOB TYPE : Hybrid working model


POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides essential administrative support to the Patient Support Program, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery. Key duties include managing patient enrollment data, handling sensitive documents, overseeing program emails, and coordinating with clinics and pharmacies on coverage eligibility. The role also involves preparing financial assistance documentation, managing portal uploads, and performing general administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and filing. This administrative support is critical for maintaining program efficiency, meeting patient needs, and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Entering and validating data from patient documents related to enrollment into the patient support program and insurance navigation.
  • Prepare and print program and patient sensitive documents
  • Assemble and process daily and expedited mail
  • Oversee program email, monitor incoming messages, and respond to requests from clinic and pharmacies
  • Prepare documentation related to manual financial assistance, under the guidance and approval of management
  • Liaise with pharmacies and clinics through written communication to determine patient’s coverage eligibility
  • Manage portal uploads and communications based on clinic and pharmacy communication preferences
  • Perform general administrative tasks including but not limited to, faxing, scanning and filing
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites and Adobe Pro
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Experience with Salesforce, is an asset

EDUCATION
  • Secondary school required, some post-secondary preferred or equivalent experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Office environment: sitting at a desk, working on a computer


Recruitment Process:
