Office Manager

Certified Recycling is looking for a reliable Office Administrator to help us facilitate our day-to-day operations. The tasks of the office administrator will include bookkeeping, record keeping, customer assistance, and management of the company's social media page. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision as well as putting special importance on their communication and interactions with our customers. As a growing small business, the office administrator will play a crucial role by ensuring the smooth running of our company’s office in addition to representing the company well through their interactions with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures via Quickbooks Online
  • Create and update records via Quickbooks Online with personnel, financial and other data
  • Manage transportation documentation
  • Notate and track environmental reporting and permits
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Quickbooks Online (2 years minimum)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Familiarity with Google ecosystem programs and products
  • Familiarity with Transportation/Logistics record keeping will be a plus
  • High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
