Office Manager – Full-time

Buttercups Uniforms is Ireland’s premier supplier of workwear for the professional health, beauty, corporate and hospitality industries. With over 30 years’ experience, we have refined our passion for delivering high-quality uniforms at a very competitive price. Our main markets are Ireland & the UK, and we are growing globally with ambitious plans.

We are currently seeking a full-time Office Manager, a key role in the operations of the business. This is an exciting & challenging opportunity for the right person to join a great company.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, manage, and develop a small team across warehouse, customer service, and office operations.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, productivity, and service delivery across all operational areas.
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations.
  • Identify, implement, and continuously improve office and operational procedures.
  • Liaise with external service providers (e.g., IT, telecoms, suppliers) to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Support onboarding of new hires and address employee queries.
  • Report directly to and work closely with the Managing Director on operational performance and business priorities.

Customer & Account Management

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to enquiries and requests.
  • Manage phone and email orders, ensuring accurate processing and timely fulfilment.
  • Act as key account manager for hospitality sector clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high service standards.

Finance & Administration

  • Perform accounting and finance administration duties as required, including: processing bank payments, reconciling transactions and managing aged debtors and credit control.
  • Coordinate and oversee general administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the needs of the business.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:

Essential:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a previous management or supervisory position.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team while remaining actively involved in operational tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Financial administration experience, including payment reconciliations.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, hardworking, passionate and love what you do.
  • A leader and also a team player.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
  • Ability to work in the office 5 days a week.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Sage 200 (or similar) and CRM systems.
  • Experience in global markets.
  • Experience in both B2B & B2C Ecommerce.

What we offer:

  • Salary Range : €40,000 - €45,000 DOE
  • Full-time position in office Monday to Friday
  • Parking provided
  • Canteen facilities
  • Finish earlier on Fridays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

  • Deansgrange, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
