Reporting directly to our Community Programs Manager, as an Office Manager for our Specialty Foster Care program, you will:
Provide administrative support to our Foster Care team and customer service to our Specialty Foster Care families and those we serve.
- Provide Intake/admission assistance and program referral for new clients.
- Conduct financial tasks to support our families and program.
- Plan ongoing events for the families and staff of the Foster Care Program.
- Manage administrative support staff for the department and volunteers.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia was established in Cobb County Georgia in 1973 at the invitation of Governor Jimmy Carter and for more than 40 years has been providing new hopes, new dreams, and new choices for children, adolescents and young adults struggling with emotional and behavioral health challenges.

- Associates Degree in Business or Technical College diploma with concentration in Office Administration or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working as an Office Manager or Administrative Support role in the health-care setting or other related field required; Three (3) or more years preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, behavioral or medical office environment with minimal supervision.
- Advanced computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in and/or exposure to financial tasks, reporting and payroll.
- Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and embrace our mission of Servant Leadership!
- Comfortable around children and adolescents with mental or behavioral differences.
- Must possess current, valid driver's license; satisfactory background check, drug test and physical are required.
- Complete an extensive 2 week training program (paid) from 8:30-5:30pm on our campus in Kennesaw
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
- Weekend availability and holidays required.
- Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
