The Office Services Manager role provides broad support in the areas of facilities and office management to ensure the seamless functioning of the local work environment. The ideal candidate will possess the relevant experience and skills to perform the role with limited oversight. Key capabilities include a proven history of competency in decision-making and problem-solving, exceptional organizational skills, strong communication skills, the ability to negotiate and manage contracts, and the desire to operate in a highly dynamic role that manages a large variety of tasks simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities:
Major areas of responsibility include oversight of all local outsourced facilities functions (janitorial, landscape, air conditioning, plumbing, construction, etc.), corporate event support, travel contracts and support, ensuring facilities’ policies/practices are compliant with regulations, and general administrative support as needs arise.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-
4-7 years in an Administrative
support role - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Vendor and contract management
- Event management
- Experience in business administration
- Budget/cost management
- Facilities experience preferred
- Experience with architectural/interior design a plus
Requirements for Success:
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage complex projects independently
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to shift focus quickly and manage a variety of tasks at once
- History of identifying needs and proposing and implementing solutions
- Full-time (40 hours), on site
