Alcom Voice & Data Ltd are Ireland's largest Ericsson-LG Telephony Solutions Partner for SMB & Enterprise On-Premise VOIP Telephony, Private & Public VOIP Cloud Telephony Solutions for business customers nationwide along with the provision of Data & Fibre Cabling Networks, WANs/LANs & WiFi Network Solutions & software solutions.

We are seeking to recruit on an initial part-time office admin/digital media/some accounting skills to become a member of our team in our Galway offices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your duties will be in two key areas, Office Admin/Web Content and Accounting working closely with our Finance & Office Manager.

Office Admin/Content Management

  • Liaise with Sales and Technical Support teams
  • Supplier orders & Stock Management
  • Deal with/log customers requests/calls/support queries
  • Manage/create/upload web content
  • Basic facilities and office management

Accounting:

  • Data entry of purchases, sales and bank.
  • Payment processing
  • Sales Reconciliations, invoice generation.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

Required Skills and Education:

  • Positive attitude and willing to learn – can do attitude.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Quick-thinking problem solver who is proactive in anticipating issues or suggesting new developments.
  • Responsible and committed person who takes ownership for their role and time management.
  • Proven track record of strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and focus on and meet task deadlines.
  • Ability to engage and converse successfully with customers & suppliers.
  • Good level of experience with Office 365 knowledge of Office 365 (MS Office, Excel, Word,etc.)

You will initially be available to work two days per week (Thursday & Friday) reporting to & working with our Office/Finance Manager. If the right candidate comes along, we can be flexible with the hours and the days

Ideal Experience:

  • Office Admin/Digital Media: 2 years
  • MS Office: 1 year
  • Accounting: 1 year (ideally Quickbooks/Collsoft/ROS)
  • Website & Content Management

Location:

  • Parkmore, Galway. Ideally we would like someone living locally.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent (subject to probationary period)

Starting Salary range - €14 - 18 ph depending on experience (min 16 hours a week)

Additional pay:

  • Yearly bonus
