Location: India (Remote / Offshore)

Role Overview

The Offshore QA Analyst, based in India, ensures the reliability, accuracy, and performance of Egolia Group’s and TradeREA’s technology platforms through disciplined testing, documentation, and defect management. This role supports both business and technical teams by validating features, identifying defects, and maintaining a disciplined QA process across all releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Functional Testing: Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes against business requirements.
  • Regression Testing: Maintain and run regression suites to ensure platform stability across releases.
  • API Testing: Use tools like Postman to validate endpoints, payloads, and error handling.
  • Defect Identification & Reporting: Log detailed, reproducible defects with screenshots, steps, and expected vs. actual results.
  • Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with engineering teams to clarify issues, retest fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Documentation: Maintain structured QA documentation, including test cases, release notes, and QA reports.
  • Process Compliance: Follow Egolia’s internal QA workflow, sprint cadence, and release management standards.
  • Automation (Nice-to-Have): Contribute to automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Environment Validation: Verify Demo, staging, UAT, and production environments before and after deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of hands-on QA experience (manual testing required; automation is an asset).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Experience testing web apps, APIs, and backend workflows.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Postman, TestRail, or similar.
  • Ability to write clear test cases and structured documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to work independently in an offshore/remote environment with disciplined reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, trading platforms, tokenization, or blockchain-adjacent systems.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Understanding of database queries (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for data validation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Daily QA updates with clear status reporting.
  • Zero-ambiguity defect logging with reproducible steps.
  • Consistent adherence to release timelines and sprint commitments.
  • Proactive identification of risks, gaps, and edge cases.
  • High responsiveness and alignment with North American working hours for overlap.
