Job Title: OMS Intern
Location: Porvorim, Goa
Internship Duration: 5 months

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically inclined OMS Intern to support implementation, configuration, testing, and documentation activities related to Sterling Order Management. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise Order Management Systems used in large-scale retail and supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in understanding IBM OMS architecture, components, and order lifecycles.
• Support configuration of OMS modules such as Order Capture, Fulfillment, Sourcing, and Returns.
• Participate in requirement analysis and functional documentation.
• Assist in system testing (unit testing, SIT, UAT support) and defect tracking.
• Support integrations with upstream and downstream systems (ERP, WMS, POS, payment gateways).
• Help monitor OMS transactions, queues, and basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare KT documents, SOPs, and process flows.
• Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and QA teams.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Basic understanding of Order Management, e-commerce, or supply chain concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (basic level).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
• Willingness to learn enterprise systems and business processes.
