On-Call Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and customer service, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality housekeeping services.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Execute carpet cleaning and floor care tasks to maintain the appearance and hygiene of various surfaces.
• Manage housekeeping duties efficiently, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning sessions.
• Prepare and cook simple meals as needed for clients or guests in residential settings.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness are met.
• Handle commercial cleaning tasks as required, maintaining high standards in business environments.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to sanitize effectively and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and guests.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
