JOB TITLE: HMMA On-Site Quality Technician
- EMPLOYER: PHA Alabama, LLC
DEPARTMENT: Quality
REPORTS TO: Quality Supervisor
EFFECTIVE DATE: 9/23/2024
SUMMARY: The HMMA On-Site Quality Technician is responsible for achieving a high level of product quality for the door module assembly by continuously improving the process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports quality initiatives for the PHA Alabama plant.
- Provides on-site shop floor troubleshooting support at the HMMA plant in regards to quality problems that may arise during assembly of the door module to the door.
- Troubleshoots problems in regards to door modules shipped to HMMA from the PHA Alabama plant.
- Serves as point-of-contact for component quality issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Other skills required:
- At least one year experience in the field of Quality Assurance preferred.
- Must be mechanically inclined in regards to tear down and troubleshooting of quality problems
- Ability to work unsupervised at HMMA plant
- Excellent math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit or utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Continually required to talk or hear.
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- The employee must be able to frequently push loaded shipping racks throughout the warehouse area.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Additional remarks regarding work environment:
- Work area is heat/air conditioned within an office environment, with 100% of time spent in a shop floor environment.
