We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated One-on-One Aide to provide individualized support to children with disabilities. This role involves working closely with a child to ensure their physical, annd emotional needs are met in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to fostering the child’s growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support to a child during daily activities, including recreational activities, and transitions.
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed, such as feeding, toileting, or mobility support.
• Foster social and communication skills through guided interactions and activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the child at all times.
• Adapt activities to meet the child’s abilities and encourage engagement.
• Monitor and document the child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field preferred).
• URIS B training
• Previous experience working with children with disabilities, especially in a one-on-one setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility or other physical needs if required.
• Understanding of disability-related accommodations and interventions.
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with a team.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
