Position Title: Data Entry & Shipping Assistant

Location: Melbourne, FL Schedule: Part time with potential for full time after a trial period.

Overview

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented team member to join our fast-paced crystal and mineral business. This person will wear multiple hats, entering products during live shows, boxing and shipping orders, and supporting daily operations around the office. The ideal candidate thrives on multitasking, loves structure, and enjoys being part of a creative small business environment.

Core Responsibilities

Data Entry & Inventory

• Accurately enter mineral inventory during live sales (fast typing & focus required)

• Catalog new inventory in our system (products, prices, locality, SKU, etc.)

• Update inventory spreadsheets and databases

Shipping & Packaging

• Pack and ship customer orders with care and precision

• Print invoices, prepare shipping labels, and verify order accuracy

Office & Operations Support

• Assist with opening new shipments (unboxing, sorting, cataloging)

• Help track and manage weekly shows, claims, and order flow

• Support management and other team members with admin or prep tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent typing and computer skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player

• Shipping or e-commerce experience preferred

• Interest in crystals or minerals is a plus but not required

Compensation

• Pay starting at $20

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

• We sell high value crystals and you will be shipping extremely delicate pieces. Crystal and Mineral knowledge isn't required but it is a plus. Do you have any interest in minerals? I am not talking about metaphysical knowledge - I am talking about mineral knowledge.
• You will be working late nights on Wednesdays doing data entry for our live sales. Confirm you have a flexible schedule for Wednesday nights, as our show ends at various times, when the work is done. The end time varies between 10pm-12am.
