About Us
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- OpenShift Cluster Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters (including installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting).
Ensure clusters are running optimally, including resource management, monitoring, and scaling. - Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain scripts to automate cluster management tasks using Ansible, Helm, Bash, or other automation tools.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor OpenShift clusters for performance, uptime, and reliability.
Troubleshoot issues related to OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerized environments. - Security & Compliance: Implement and manage security policies for OpenShift environments.
Ensure cluster configurations are compliant with security standards and industry best practices. - Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to streamline application deployment and ensure efficient CI/CD pipeline integration.
Provide support and guidance to development teams for container-based application deployment. - Performance Tuning & Optimization: Optimize the resource allocation and utilization of the OpenShift environment.
Manage cluster scaling for high availability and capacity planning. - Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation on OpenShift configurations, processes, and best practices.
Report on system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Job Requirement
- 2-6 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift (version 3.x or 4.x) in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and container technologies (Docker).
- Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines, deploying containerized applications using Jenkins, GitLab, Tekton, etc.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Experience with Ansible, Helm, or similar configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as load balancing, DNS, and firewalls.
- Understanding of security best practices for containers and OpenShift, including RBAC, SSL/TLS, and network policies.
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate routine tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
