Operations Enablement Manager, Trust And Safety

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or related fields.
  • 1 year of experience in people management, leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and stakeholder groups in a managed services environment.
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with executive management across operations, internal stakeholders and vendors at different levels and the ability and experience to work and collaborate across globally-distributed, cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Ability to present insights in a business oriented manner.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills written and verbal and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

Trust Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, youre a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
In this role, you will support your team managing and cross functional projects which drive continuous improvement across the partner network. You will define principles and programs that inform stakeholders of optimization opportunities through reporting and insights; you will create strategies that support the organisations ability to enable effective storytelling. You will continuously fine tune the frameworks to improve performance.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of individuals, set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Partner across solutions to create effective reporting that supports the Service Delivery landscape and can be utilized by executive leadership to drive decisions.
  • Conduct analysis, optimize business performance, and deliver within relevant product areas. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions that improve business performance.
  • Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, important organizational implications, and changing circumstances.
  • Use Google’s big data to conduct data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence business decision-making by presenting insights and market trends.
