About Tile Merchant

Tile Merchant is a leading supplier of tiles, paving, wall panels, bathrooms and home renovation products across Ireland. We support homeowners, builders and designers with quality products, reliable logistics and strong customer service.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team and help keep everything moving smoothly behind the scenes.

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied position where no two days are the same. You will be at the centre of our logistics operations checking e-mails and booking in orders with sellers, booking in trucks for service and maintenance to ensure deliveries are managed efficiently and safely.

You will play a key role in keeping operations organised, compliant and responsive, especially when unexpected situations arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage logistics email inbox and book in orders with suppliers
  • Liaise daily with sellers and transport partners
  • Schedule trucks for servicing and maintenance
  • Handle logistics incidents and accidents in a structured and calm manner
  • Maintain accurate incident records and documentation
  • Communicate with insurance providers regarding incidents and claims
  • Organise alternative transport when required to avoid delays
  • Book stock transfers and uplifts between locations
  • Complete and submit required statistics for the CSO
  • Ensure all logistics records and processes are kept up to date and compliant

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination or operations (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Good English mandatory)
  • Comfortable dealing with suppliers, drivers and external partners
  • Ability to stay calm and solution-focused under pressure
  • Good attention to detail and record keeping
  • Confident using email and basic systems/software
  • A proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude

  • Working days: From Tuesday to Friday (7AM – 3.30PM) and Saturday (9AM to 5PM)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €35,000.00 per year
